It was a perfect December day at Mayfield Park, where Laura and Donovan tied the knot under sunny skies. Mayfield Park is such a gorgeous setting! Palm trees, big oak trees, rock fountains and lots of peacocks make for such a unique backdrop for an intimate wedding.
Laura and Donovan are such a great couple and it’s plain to see just how happy they make each other. Congrats you two!!

You might not know that besides being a fabulous photographer, CJ is also a super-talented neon bender. He makes all kinds of cool neon signs that you might’ve seen around Austin- Kerbey Lane, Waterloo Icehouse, DJ Dojo, and this heart-made especially for Faith and John’s shoot:)
I LOVE these two!! We shot Faith and John’s wedding last September, and when Faith contacted me about a trash-the-dress/bride+groom shoot, I was pumped! I knew this fun-lovin’ couple would be game for anything and we took full advantage of their awesomeness:)
We started the shoot with those two gorgeous vintage cars, courtesy of Frank Frericks, who works for 2 dine 4 Catering. If you’re looking for a fabulous caterer or a stylish get-away car for your wedding day, Frank is your man! Please tell him I sent ya!
And I’ve been dying to shoot at a carnival, so when I realized that the carnival was in town for Faith and John’s shoot, I knew we had to head on over! We all had a blast! Thanks to Frank for the awesome cars, thanks to Stephen for “chauffering,” and thanks to Faith and John for being up for pretty much anything….you two rock!!

I was so happy to finally meet this wonderful couple. Kristina and Aaron were the sweetest, silliest (well, mostly Aaron:), most in lovin-est couple ever! And the best part was that we had plenty of time for wedding party and bride + groom portraits around historic downtown New Braunfels! It was such a pleasure and an honor to be included in such a special celebration. People like Kristina and Aaron truly make us realize what a wonderful “job” we have. Documenting all of these joyous moments for two people who love each other and are loved by their friends and family is a privilege that we’re so thankful for. Thanks Kristina and Aaron for sharing such a special day with us!
