I love having the opportunity to shoot somewhere totally new, so when Amy and Cody suggested that we start their session at the Crestview shopping center in their charming Crestview neighborhood here in Austin, I was all for it! Developed in the 1950′s, this neighborhood is like a time capsule, and the shopping center with it’s Minimax grocery store, still has all of the same charm and character you’d expect that it had when it opened it’s doors in the 50′s.

Clara + Matt {engaged}

After the long Texas drought, it’s been been such a nice change in scenery to see Austin so green and to see the beautiful creeks flowing again. So, our initial plan to shoot the 2nd half of Clara and Matt’s engagement session along the dry creek bed made a change for the better! Matt and Clara were all for getting their feet wet and venturing out into the clear, cold water of Barton Creek. We all had a great time and I love the results!

Gerrie + Ryan {engaged}

We weren’t sure if the rain would hold off for Gerrie and Ryan’s shoot, but we decided to go for it! We got a little wet, but it was definitely worth it and we came away with some great rainy-day shots!
