Blake, the handsome groom, waiting for his beautiful bride to make her way down for their first look.

Love these next two shots by CJ.

Meredith and Blake’s wedding is going to be featured on Southern Weddings Blog very soon-so exciting! While looking over the interview that they completed to accompany the feature, I came across this: What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? “The “first look” in the meadow before the ceremony. There were lots of happy tears, hugs, kisses and smiles. It was such a heartfelt, joy-filled, magical moment that we will never forget.”
This made me so happy! Meredith and Blake weren’t sure about seeing each other before their ceremony, but since their ceremony took place during sunset, I knew that there wouldn’t be enough light (or time) to work with for their portraits after the ceremony. So I pleaded my case for the first look, and they trusted that it would be a good idea. And now to hear that this was one of the highlights of their wedding day-wow!
Meredith is just too pretty for words.

After we wrapped up the family group portraits, CJ went around behind the altar with the off-camera flash so we could grab this shot. Love it!

As Meredith shared a dance with her dad, her grandfather cut in to enjoy a dance with his granddaughter. So very sweet.
