My mom and Maggie weren’t able to come into our room to meet Georgia for a couple of hours while I was recovering from surgery, so CJ showed them some photos to tide them over until they could see the real thing. I love their expressions!

I adore this next series of photos when Maggie and my mom meet Georgia for the first time. I’ll never forget this moment.

As you can imagine, 9 months is a loooong time to a 5-year old. Maggie has been counting down the days until she could meet her baby sister, and when the big day finally came, she was SO excited! Seeing Maggie hold her baby sister with a big smile on her face just melts my heart.

Maggie can’t get enough of Georgia. She has amazed me with how much she adores her baby sister and just wants hold and kiss her all of the time. It’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.

My heart is so full of love and happiness right now. I can’t believe how blessed we are to get to share our lives with two wonderful little girls. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier and I can’t wait for all of the adventures we’ll have as a family of four!

A HUGE thanks to my dear friend Sarah Q who was there to capture all of these special moments for us. These photos mean so, so much to our family. Thank you, Sarah!! I can’t wait for your baby girl to arrive!

As a fellow Maggie, I remember when my baby was born. My baby was a boy, and he was the most wonderful gift my parents ever gave me. John and I have been best friends ever since, and he will be my Man of Honor in my own wedding this June. Maggie's face is wonderful in these images, and I know how she feels.
