Baovy was stunning!!

Vu, the handsome groom.

I have to mention that it was FREEZING on Baovy and Vu’s wedding day. I think the high was in the 30′s, but Baovy, Vu and the wedding party braved the frigid temperatures for some outdoor portraits. They were total troopers!

CJ captured this shot of the beautiful bridesmaids!

Don’t let the sun fool you…it was coooold. But these girls were so awesome and were even game for a jump shot. I have no idea how Baovy jumped so high in that dress and heels. She’s a pro!

I was SO in love with Baovy’s gorgeous hair piece.

Baovy and Vu wrote their own vows, which were so sweet and touching. I just love when couples do this, as it really personalizes a ceremony.

You might remember this tandem bike from their engagement session. Baovy and Vu are cyclists, so they incorporated a bicycle-theme into their wedding. Love it!

I love shooting with CJ, since we can capture two perspectives at the same time. Great shot, Ceej!

They didn’t mind snuggling close to stay warm!

In case I didn’t mention that it was a little chilly, check out this fountain that had frozen over. It made such a unique background. Beautiful shot, CJ.

The yellow and gray details were such a great color combo!

They gave all of their guests Livestrong bracelets and also made a donation to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in their guests honor.

Here’s where the fun begins. We were given a heads-up that there might be some “games” after dinner that the bride and groom would be subjected to. I couldn’t wait to check this out! Game #1: Vu stands on a chair while Baovy is blindfolded. Baovy has to run two golf balls up and then back down Vu’s pants legs. As you can see, the result is hilarious!!!

Game #2: Vu is blindfolded and little clothespins are placed strategically all over Baovy’s dress. Vu has to feel his way around Baovy to find the clothespins. Can every wedding have games, please? So fun!

PHOTOBOOTH FUN!!! Brides and grooms: this is THE best way to capture fun photos of your guests and also provide a fun activity for your guests to participate in during the reception. Everyone loves it!!

I have to give a shout-out to Gia (that’s her and her hubby), who referred Baovy and Vu to us. Gia is a super-talented photographer, so I was flattered that she recommended us. CJ and I also decided that we’d like to have Gia at all of our weddings. She went above and beyond making sure that we had everything we needed, kept us posted on all of the goings-on of the wedding, and as a photographer herself, knew all of the little details that help things run smoothly. Thanks, Gia!! You’re awesome!

Game #3: For the garter toss, Vu had to crawl through the legs of his groomsmen to get to Baovy and remove the garter. He’s blindfolded, of course, and while he’s crawling through their legs, Baovy gets up and one of his groomsmen sits down. Vu then has to remove the garter from his groomsmen’s leg with his teeth. Before he takes his blindfold off, Baovy sits back down again. Everyone was cracking up!

Baovy and Vu rode their tandem bike for their grand exit! Perfect!
