I had been dying to shoot at this fabulous location ever since I came across Erik Clausen’s ”Be a Poser” blog, who is an amazingly talented Dallas photographer.  This old cotton mill is located in McKinney, and is slowly being renovated into an events venue. In the meantime, the abandoned buildings and brick structures make for an amazing backdrop.  

CJ, my dear friend Aimee, me, Ashley, and her hubby all made the trek and braved the intense heat for these photos.  And I think they were definitely worth the effort!! Although only one of us had to endure the heat while looking amazing in stiletto heels:) Ashley is an artistic gal, so I knew she’d be up for anything. As you can see, she was fabulous!!

Rachel and Jason were married in the beautifully restored St. Mary’s  Cathedral in downtown Austin. The facade of the church was gorgeous and made such a great backdrop for photos. Then Rachel and Jason braved the heat for a downtown bride+groom photo shoot. (my favorite:) It seems like forever ago when we shot their engagement session, and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding ever since!!

That’s one happy Dad!! Nice shot CJ!As Stacy made her way down the aisle, she collected roses from friends and family that helped make Stacy and Robby the people the are today. Then Stacy and her Mother tied the roses together into a beautiful bouquet.  

They opted for homemade pies in leiu of cake. Mmmmm…..pie.

Stacy and Robby were married at one of my very favorite venues, Star Hill Ranch.  They had a beautiful ceremony officiated by Robby’s Dad, followed by a reception with BBQ and pie….yum!!
