Big news!!

We’ve got some big news to share with all of you! In just a little over 3 weeks, we’ll be welcoming a baby girl into our family! We’re all over the moon and can not wait to meet her!

Luckily, my BFF Sarah Q, who is an amazingly talented photographer, and who is also expecting, offered to document my ever-expanding belly. I can not tell you how much I LOVE these photos and how special they are to our family. We love you, Sarah!

We’ll be sure to post photos of the new baby once she makes her debut in March!

Their ceremony was held in the courtyard of this beautiful, historic La Jolla hotel.

Jeremy grew up in La Jolla, and he and his brothers used to call this the secret stairway, which leads down to the beach. I bet he never imagined he’d be standing here with his beautiful, new wife!

Their reception was held at their friend, Jayne’s gastropub. It was a great little restaurant and wine bar that was the perfect setting for their intimate wedding celebration.

You might remember Tracie + Jeremy from their wine-inspired engagement shoot. Tracie is one of my dearest childhood friends, so it was really special to be able to travel to beautiful La Jolla, California to document her big day. Jeremy grew up in La Jolla…lucky!! It’s such a scenic little town right on the California coast and all of us Texans really enjoyed heading out west to celebrate with the newlyweds.

I’m so, so happy for Tra and Jeremy! I don’t think either one of them stopped smiling all day. I know very well what an amazing person Tracie is, and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect fit for her than Jeremy. Congratulations to you both!

Two Wheelin’

There are those moments as a parent that bring you right back to when you were a kid yourself. It’s so amazing to relive that feeling of discovering something that’s totally new and exciting, and one of those moments is definitely learning to ride a bike…..without training wheels! Maggie recently learned how to ride her bike, with Dad’s help, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Watching her cruise around with a big grin on her face and a look of such accomplishment is the best feeling in the world. We’re SO proud of you, Maggs!!

She got inspired to try some tricks after watching Pee Wee’s Big Adventure!
